WHY NCC IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUTH.
The cadet as he/she is termed after being enrolled is subject to physical exercises, basic courses in navigation, rifle shooting, drill parades, and others.
It is a really good opportunity for those seeking a career in the armed forces as NCC comes as a brief introductory stage before their career in the forces begins. As a matter of fact, not only for those who wish to join the forces but for any career.
NCC does not only make provide you with the knowledge of the military but also how to be responsible, be a good citizen, work with zest and ethics, develops communication skills, develops the OLQs (Officer Like Qualities), bring out the leadership ability, teamwork, teaches the management of time.
We meet a lot of new people from every part of the country. Since there is no place for ‘I don’t know or I cannot do it’ in the forces, this is one such attitude the cadets start developing, every task given to them has to be completed at any cost.
There arise many situations while at the camps away from the home; the cadets learn to keep themselves self-motivated. The cadets get a broader angle to their perception and a boost in their confidence at a mass level, making them more dedicated towards their goals.
If one ever gets a chance to get into the NCC, one should not miss it as it brings out the best in an individual. The complete personality of an individual is shaped while under training.
